Unhappy Problems With FlashFXP & Xbox connection

I had my Xbox connected thru a router but Im looking to connect the Xbox directly to my PC's network card. Im running Avalaunch and its saying that there is no link. Ive checked the IP addresses on my Xbox and PC and they seem to be set up correctly but it's not working. Could anyone direct me either to a previous post on how to connect directly to the PC or shed some light on what could be going wrong. Avalaunch is giving me an IP with err after it and Flash FXP is giving me the following message

[R] Connecting to XBox -> IP=10.0.10.218 PORT=21
[R] Connected to XBox
[R] 220 secondary AVA-FTP Server ready.
[R] USER xbox
[R] 331 Password required
[R] PASS (hidden)
[R] 550 Illegal login.
[R] Connection failed

Thanks!

according to the log you posted, you connected your xbox correctly, however you are logging with the wrong info.
you need to find out what's the correct username and password to use.

I didn't change that information. I just stopped using a router and connected straight to the Xbox. I'm still using the same user/ password combination. It's got to be something else. It seems like I'm getting some sort of error before I even try to connect with FlashFXP. In the Avalaunch dash when the IP comes up it has err after it.

My best guess is that it's a configuration issue with Avalaunch or your router. Everything looks fine in FlashFXP, although it's odd that it wont accept your password when connecting via the router.

Yeah I know it's weird. I just bought a wireless router so I figured I'd just connect the Xbox directly to my computers ethernet port. I changed the respective IP's on the Xbox and computer to match. With the last number either one higher or lower and this is the result. I don't know why it isn't working.
