Cool Speed difference in Flashfxp 2.1 to 3.4.0

My question is basiclly why is there such a performance transfer difference from version to version.

If I download from my ISP with Flash fxp 2.1. I can get speeds in excess of 600k.

Transferred: adsl.test 13.00 MB in 20.36 (653.86 KBps)

But if I download from the same location with Flash fxp 3.4.0. I can not get any faster than 320k

Transferred: adsl.test 13.00 MB in 41.95 seconds (317.3 KB/s)

These 2 transfers were done with in 1 mins of each other.

There are no ftp client ports open on the firewall which I should not have to do as I am not running a server and I am just the client connecting to the server.

Some help in fixing this problem would be great.

F6, Connection, TCP/IP Buffer Size. play around with this those settings. some have better results with different numbers.
