Default Sudden "no route to host"

* FlashFXP v[3].[2], build [1080 ], [X]unregistered,
* OS [X] WinXP
* Running behind NAT/router [X] Yes & Model [Thomson/Alcatel Speedtouch 530]
* Running firewall [X] Yes, Name [Kerio Personal], Ver. [4.21]
* Running Antivirus [X] Yes, Name [Avast]
* Network [X] xDSL

Hello.

I try to get a whole web site from a Windows 2003 ftp server. While everything seems ok, randomly i get

[R] PASV
[R] 227 Entering Passive Mode (64,62,196,204,5,218).
[R] Opening data connection IP: 64.62.196.204 PORT: 1498
[R] Data Socket Error: No route to Host
[R] Transfer Failed!

and all files after that can't be trabsfered. The strange is that at that time i also can't use Internet explorer
outlook. If i exit the client and wait a minute or so, everything works and i can resume the ftp.

I have searched everything, the dsl modem/router the firewall, nothing seems to matter.

Any ideas are much appreaciated

Thanks

COstas

Well besides the fact that this isn't a FlashFXP issue (as you said yourself), we can't really help you here. No route to host means almost like "there is no internet available". So it has to do something with your internet connection, and my guess your firewall which doesn't work properly.

We have removed our Kerio firewall, we have disabled Xp firewall, we have tried also Zonealarm, the very same happens.

Thank you anyway.

I would like to close this thread, and let you know that the problem is completely solved. Nothing to do with your client.

I upgraded the firmware of the dsl modem and everything is working great.

Thanks
