Default flashFXP hangs after a couple of minutes

I am connecting to a site that supports pret through a firewall on my desktop machine, and have set up all the routes through the firewall etc so I can get a transfer started. The problem is after around 100mb flashFXP hangs and the only way to get up and running again is to end the program in task manager and then restart and reload the queue.

On my laptop everything is fine.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Roger

This is the last part of the log file:

[R] PASV
[R] 500 You need to use a client supporting PRET (PRE Transfer) to use PASV
[R] PORT 192,168,0,55,16,229
[R] 501- ==YOU'RE BEHIND A NAT ROUTER==
[R] 501- Configure the firewall settings of your FTP client
[R] 501- to use your real IP: 80.229.1.201
[R] 501- And set up port forwarding in your router.
[R] 501- Or you can just use a PRET capable client, see
[R] 501 http://drftpd.org/ for PRET capable clients
[R] Transfer Failed!
[R] PRET RETR wb-vs2005b2junectppro-.r00
[R] 200 OK, will use ARCHIVE for upcoming transfer
[R] PASV
[R] 227 Entering Passive Mode (216,235,14,124,120,55).
[R] Opening data connection IP: 216.235.14.124 PORT: 30775
[R] RETR wb-vs2005b2junectppro-.r00
[R] 150 File status okay; about to open data connection from ARCHIVE.

The PRET error is intermittent - I've set the pc to operate through the DMZ port of my firewall. At this point, flashFXP just hung . . .

All suggestions welcome!
