Smile Changing permissions to windows server

Hi

How do you change file permissions when uploading to a windows server?

Is there a custom command to use? and how?

Many thanks in advance

This depends on the server. If it uses standard permissions then you can right click on the file and select "Attributes (CHMOD)" from the popup menu to change the permissions.

My host said 'the server is IIS the permissions are fully optimised via NTFS Permissions so no utility or different ftp client will help but all ftp clients should allow you to issue a custom ftp command site ReadOnly filename'.

Can I do this within FlashFXP and where.

Thanks

"fully optimised via NTFS Permissions" is a blatant marketing bullshit.
but regardless, you can press Ctrl-R to get custom command popup
