RAS Graph & Stats is a network/dialup monitor and stats tool. It provides real time graph of traffic. Detailed stats provide daily/weekly/monthly/yearly stats/user defined range. Stop watch. etc..

This app basically picks up where NetStat left off by providing stats for network card (cable/dsl/etc)

RAS G&S has only been tested on Win2k and may not be compatible with any other versions of windows.

[02-22-2002] ** UPDATE v1.16 **
I decided to turn off the standard windows network connection icon, however i soon realized I missed not being able to see network activity. So I added an option (enabled by default) which replicates network activity.

Setup > Display Tab > Show Activity.

When Show Activity is enabled the images will replicate windows standard network activity icons.

These icons can be customized.

create a 16x16 pixel icon (16 color) and name it based on the chart below.

\RAS Graph & Stats Folder\
0.ico = Standard icon (when show activity is unchecked)
1.ico = no activity
2.ico = activity in/out
3.ico = activity in
4.ico = activity out

If you create some cool icons, i'd love to see them

Good to see another version of this program out ! ... I like to see other programs being updated, as well as FlashFXP

Only other thing we would all love (prolly just me

) is to have this program have 2 sets of stats... one for 'peak' one for 'off-peak' ... and have those times definatble for the other users...

Super utility, bigstar!
I've been looking for a small utility like this for quite some time now for my ADSL and only found one which is huge and not-so-good.

RAS Graph & Stats v1.15 beta has been running on my Win98 SE (with IE 6.0) now for a few hours and works perfectly.

Maybe someone would be so nice as to add the XP DUN icons

Bigstar, just for your info... not sure if its a minor bug or not.

But anyway ill go ahead with it. I am not sure what triggers it, but when running RAS G&S 1.16 i've noticed the icon seams to suddenly change to the DUN tray icon insead of your normal icon. Also when the mouse rests over the tray icon it doesnt say anything at all.

Not sure if these are bugs or not, but I thought i'd mention it. Ill let you know if I can pinpoint when it happens.

When RAS is started, a windows pops up saying this:

"Function NotifyAddrChange is not supported by the operating system"

and when clicking "Ok", RAS starts up and does its job perfectly. Strange thing is that when I first downloaded and tried this program (v1.15b) this error message didnt show the first 5-6 times i started it. I dont know why and I havent done anything to my OS that might have affected RAS in this way.

Btw, I also got a Out Of Memory error when having alot of programs open. That happened just one time though.

Just downloaded v1.16b and it has the same error.

Using Win98 SE with IE 6.01 and 128mb ram.

It's a really nice program. I have two suggestion: some way of turnning off windows captioning, in order we could use less space and some fixed graph scales, like 512 kbps even if we are connecting throu a 100 mbits network card!

Hmmm.. How nice.. Apparently this API isn't supported under windows 98se. It requires Win2k/XP.

double click the window, it will be come ontop and the frame will disapear.

This update resolves a couple minor bugs and provides slighly better performance (less cpu usage).

No new features.
