Harm

Topic says it all.
Use !bw a couple of times and select the average reply time.
If possible, reply to this thread with windrop version, windows version and general server infos (cpu/mem). And any other informations you might find usefull.

Note: this poll is only for ioBanana v20rc2 and above users.

Both !bw, !leechers and !uploaders takes a lot of time and the CPU usage hits 100% every time.

Its the eggdrop, ie. iobannana.tcl that goes to 100%.

I cant see where I might have made a goof in the setup, but any input on this would be appriciated.

And yes that Writediz=1 is set in ioB.ini.

Computer is a P4 2.4GGHz, running W2k with 1024MB ram.

There are no users on it atm. exept the odd admin and sitebot itself.

Any idea as to why?

/Thomas

Since the problem doesn't seem to come from the hardware configuration, i'll need some help.
I would like to do some tests at home with the bots used by those who have voted '5 seconds or more'.

Feel free to contact me on irc (#ioBanana @ EFnet) or via pm on this board if you are one of them.

This seems to be fixed in v20pre1 which will be available soon.

I will look forward to that.

Will it be available through the foundation download? - currently I dont see any of the RC versions in the member section...

Good work anyway

I should add that I was one of the ones that had that lag issue with !bw with ioBanana.19.full. So it's possible that you've found & squashed the bug that was causing that although I couldn't say for sure as a lot of my config has changed since then including hardware. Back then I was using:

AMD Athlon XP 2200+
1GB PC2100 DDR
2 ATA-133 drives in RAID-0 config running OS
1 ATA-133 drive running site

It caused cpu to go 100% for abt 20-30 secs...hope some of this data helps you with that problem.
