Queueing issues when using filters

Version : 4.2.4 (build 1790)

Not happens with previous versions

I transfer site to site, trying CTRL+Q on list of dirs which include some of filtered dirs I don't want to transfer.

I use filters options filters...>skip list (enabled)

Result is no queue appears in the bottom box.

When I select manually the dir (don't select skipped ones) the queue works as it should be.

I stil have the previous build on my other PC - everything works not bug

Regards...

Re: Queueing issues when using filters

What is the previous version/build of FlashFXP that works correctly?

When you press Ctrl+Q to queue the items do they appear in the status window indicating that they were skipped due to matching the skiplist?

Off the top of my head the only thing I can think of is that perhaps some of your skiplist entries contain the [ character and in v4.x this is a special character. When upgrading an older version these entries should of been converted to the new format and perhaps they weren't.

If the [ character is intended to match an actual [ in the item name then it needs to be prefixed with a \ so [ becomes \[

Otherwise if you had an entry such as *[a-c]* it would match any item name with the letters a, b, or c in it, where-as *\[a-c]* would match any item containing [a-c]

Re: Queueing issues when using filters

Can you please use the contact us link and send me a copy of your flashfxp.ini

I dont think this is a problem with the skiplist but something else in your configuration.

Re: Queueing issues when using filters

Are the selected items being added to the queue?

I wonder if perhaps the problem is related to the Ctrl+Q shortcut?

If Ctrl+Q doesn't work, then does right-clicking on the item and selecting queue?

Re: Queueing issues when using filters

I noticed that when I try to transfer a list of dirs the dir icone become "glassy" but when it arrives to a skipped one all dirs after don't become glossy...not sure I'm clear hope the screen will help

Re: Queueing issues when using filters

I replied to your email regarding the flashfxp.ini asking you to zip it and try sending it again, did you? If so I didn't get it.

I am still investigating this issue.

When you queue the folders how many folders are selected?

What method are you using to select the items in the file list, mouse or keyboard?

Does the file / folder selection count info shown below the file list report the correct number of selected folders?

I have to wonder if perhaps the problem is related to the item selection and not the filters, especially since nothing is shown in the status window indicating the item is skipped.

What version of Windows are you using?
