Re: Some files are always not transfered and in error

Hello,

Thank you for reporting the issue.

Does this problem occur when uploading, downloading, or both?

It seems to happen only with FTP Download from the website server to my pc.

Also the remained/failed files in the queue, transfer oK if you shut down FlashFXP for a while, run it, reset the failed files and transfer them.

I have disabled my AV software (AVAST) with no change. I run Windows XP Pro.

thanks

This is very strange, are you sure that no other applications have the files locked?

So far I have not been able to find anything that might explain this error, I am still investigating the problem and I will spend some time on it again tomorrow.

Well just did the same download with an other ftp client and didn't experience the problem.

And also i'm using your client a long time and never had this.

Re: Some files are always not transfered and in error

Could be that after a timeout the problem occurs ?

Re: Some files are always not transfered and in error

Thank you for the additional information.

I do believe you have found the exact cause for this problem, It would appear that in some situations when a connection timeout occurs during the file transfer the local file is not closed.

With the file remaining open and locked, on retry FlashFXP is unable to open it.

I am in the process of testing the fix and I will provide you with an update to confirm it's fixed sometime later today.
