Refreshing local view failed after renaming a file.

OS: Windows XP Ultimate 64-bit
FXP version: 4.0.0, build 1548

I have two files in the Desktop directory:
- collection.jpg
- collection_original.jpg

When I rename the 'collection.jpg' file to 'collection_original.jpg', Explorer asks me if I want to overwrite the 'collection_original.jpg' file. When I click 'Yes' the file has been renamed in the view, but FlashFXP doesn't remove the old entry in the view.

Now, the entry 'collection_original.jpg' is displayed twice in the local view.

Re: Refreshing local view failed after renaming a file.

Hello,

There is a known bug in 4.0 where the first file change notification fails to trigger a refresh of the folder content, its possible that this is causing the behavior you are experiencing.

I have been unable to reproduce this issue on XP, when I try to rename file "B" to file "A" where both "A" and "B" exist, Windows explorer asks to rename "B" to "A (2)", it doesn't ask to overwrite it.

I have tried to reproduce the issue. You are right, Explorer asks if you would like to rename it to "... (2).ext", however FlashFXP doesn't update the local view (both files has the same name in the local browser).

Thank you for your bug report, I have confirmed this issue in build 1548.

A fix will be incorporated into the next stable release.
