Imported sites lost

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium
-- Not using any antivirus or firewall, I do have a D-Link router.

Go to Sites -> Import Sites -> Format v3.x sites -> Import.

Once they're imported they work and show fine under "Imported Sites"... close FlashFXP and re-open, the imported sites are gone and you must do it again.

Re: Imported sites lost

doesn't sound like a bug but rather retarded vista feature.

what is the location of your sites.dat file?

Re: Imported sites lost

Shared, in program directory.

When I go to the program directory, the sites.dat file isn't even there. Looks like Vista isn't allowing it to be created? Dunno...

Just tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and chose settings to be stored per-user and this isn't a problem anymore.

Re: Imported sites lost

The Program Files directory is not the correct location to be using for shared settings. The problem you are experiencing is most likely caused by Vista's UAC that does not allow you to save/modify files in this location, it uses a virtual folder to keep data for the duration of running the application, then clears upon exit.

Best solution is to move the settings to the correct shared location (under local settings/all users? or something like that). Or manually fix/alter the permissions for flashfxp program folder (repeat for all users).

If you actually use the RC2 installer (as indicated in the bug report options) and select the appropriate options during install this should all be done for you.
