Getting the directory list takes a long time

FlashFXP 4.1.8 Build 1708

Sometimes/often requesting the list of a directory (when down- or uploading or switching dirs) takes a long time.

It stops right after

I got this as well:

If I hit aboard the list shows.

My Server FTP is a proftpd

with List Command: STAT -L
List Parameters: -al

it works without problem

I have to wonder if this is perhaps related to the other issue you reported.

I suspect that the same situation is occurring, where FlashFXP isn't receiving a FD_CLOSE notification and it keeps waiting, expecting more data.

We can't handle this type of situation the same we do for downloads because we don't know how much data will be sent for a directory listing.

Its very difficult to handle a type of situation that I cannot reproduce or test, but I will try and come up with a couple ideas on how we might be able to improve this.

I'm not really sure if these issues are caused by the FTP server or if perhaps something else, but I will dig deeper into this issue and see what I can find.
