Transferring files from my FTP server takes forever / stalls
I recently purchased FlashFXP after a friend recommended to me. I am very unsatisfied with the way it transfers files though.
I am trying to copy my entire phpbb forums files from my Host Gator server to my computer, and the files just take forever, sometimes the file transfers would go smoothly, and sometimes it would hang on one file and just sleep there for a minute or two before it starts copying it.
Please view the below image this is an example of how it sits idle doing nothing.
I have been trying to backup my files for 1 day now and it's just never ending
I have an 8 mbps down / 1 mbps up dsl connection
