As defined by the RFC standard when using MLSD the date/time is UTC. This makes the date/time uniform and very easy to convert to the local time zone. Since no guessing is needed.
However ftp servers that do not conform to the standard will display the incorrect date/time when using MLSD.

Since the ftp server doesn't properly handle the time when using MLSD it's probably better to turn it off.
