Replacing PDFs with new but same name

Set-up:
FTP has a PDF, i.e. attributesannualmembership.pdf
Link example: http://www.website.com/about/attribu...membership.pdf

Need to update this PDF with new version but with same file name.

IN Flash FXP, we drag / drop and tell it to update and it does.

Open the PDF through Flash FXP and it appears to be the new PDF

Go to the link example http://www.website.com/about/attribu...membership.pdf and the old PDF is still being linked to.

Can you please post a copy of the ftp session log, you can right click on the status window and copy it to the clipboard.

Provided the file is being uploaded correctly, perhaps the server is caching the files or its in the middle of being downloaded and that prevents the file from being replaced without properly failing the transfer.

You could try one of the following and see if it makes any difference

1. deleting the file first prior to uploading it.

2. upload it as another name, delete the existing file and then rename the uploaded file to the name you want.
