Path issue with non-English characters

Hey,

I've FlashFXP v5.3.0(Build 3925) and suddenly I found that I can't enter to any folder that contain non-English characters in the path field(in local browser).

The path field in local browser, is where you have the value "D:\flashfxp" in this screenshot:

Thanks!

Re: Path issue with non-English characters

What happens when you try to enter non-English characters into the path box?

Are they not accepted?

Can you please explain exactly what happens.

Re: Path issue with non-English characters

If you'll put the full path, for example:
Code:
D:\Example\*non-English*\
And press enter, you'll get only:
Code:
D:\Example\

Re: Path issue with non-English characters

Thank you.

I have confirmed and fixed the issue for the next release.

Unfortunately I have some other code I am working on at the moment and it is unstable so I am not able to provide you with an update at this time. I wasn't expecting any bug reports this weekend and started work on updating the http component and related code to a much newer version and there are lots and lots of breaking changes.

Hopefully I have something you can test by Wednesday.

Re: Path issue with non-English characters

The issue should now be resolved in this new release

You can download the full installer here

Or you can download just the flashfxp.exe here, unzip it into your existing FlashFXP program folder replacing the existing flashfxp.exe
