5.2.0 (Build 3876)

When I copy/paste a title to rename a file (mkv) extension. It launches the application and kicks me out of the FlashFXP and I am unable to rename the file. It launches VLC on my system. It has been working fine up until this build.

1-FilenameA.mkv
2-F2 to rename.
3-Ctrl-C to copy the filename.
4-Select another file below it.
5-F2 to rename the new file.
6-Ctrl-V to paste.

In the past this would paste FilenameA into the new file and I could just rename the last letter to FilenameB easily.

Hello,

Thank you for your bug report.

I have confirmed the issue and a new build has been posted to resolve this issue.

The problem was introduced when the view/edit feature was rewritten to support multiple selection and by mistake the code was omitted to check to make sure that a rename operation was not already in progress.
