RC 1 Locked up

Installed the RC 1 release.

Flash restarted but when Site Manager came up, it was a blank, faint, window.

Could not close it, had to use Windows Task Manager to close the program.

Tried 3 times, same result.

Had to reboot to get Flash RC 1 to work properly.

Using Windows 7 x64 Pro.

Re: RC 1 Locked up

Do you have FlashFXP configured to automatically open the site manager on startup, or did this occur when manually opening the site manager?

Re: RC 1 Locked up

I wonder if perhaps you were low on system resources and this prevented FlashFXP from loading the main application window and site manager windows. I tried to simulate low resources to determine what would occur and my results were quite similar to what you experienced.

I'm not quite sure what we can do to handle this type of situation better.

I use an exception handler to deal with low resource situations but it doesn't handle all situations.

I tend to doubt it as I had rebooted about 2 hours prior.

No biggie, just wanted you to know in case it was something to be concerned about.
