Virus Detected with Immunet 3.0 (ClamAV)

Hi All.

On my windows XP Pro 32-bit computer, I am using Immunet 3.0 (ClamAV) antivirus.

Yesterday I was able to download and update to version 1544 with just the I/O Error after install. Today when I downloaded the 1545 update, I get a virus warning from Immunet when it tries to run. It then quarantines the installer and does not get updated.

Here are the messages I get from the Immunet 3.0 AV popup:

flash_tmp.$$$ has been detected as W32.Crypt. Quarantine was successful.

FlashFXP4_1545_Setup.exe has been detected as W32.Crypt. Quarantine was successful.

Since the installer keeps getting quarantined, I decided to run it manually. The installer started up, I got the AV warning but ignored it and the installation finished.

I then receive this error, which I have received the last 2 times that I have updated (1544 & 1545):

Even though I got this error, the program seems to run fine.

---------------------

The 1545 Update worked fine on my Windows 7 machine. I'm using ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 (4.2.71.2).

Thanks!

Re: Virus Detected with Immunet 3.0

submit report to them indicating it's a false-positive..
here's a result from VirusTotal showing that this installer is clean
http://www.virustotal.com/file-scan/...dce-1299816710
and a result from VirScan showing the same

Re: Virus Detected with Immunet 3.0

Hi MxxCon.

I will do that.

I was confident that your software was in good order. I just wanted to let you know that this particular program was throwing this error.

I'll submit this issue to Immunet.

Take Care.
