Scrolling local browser causes horizontal scroll (via mouse wheel)

Requirements to reproduce bug, (1) not 100% sure, but if you have a long file name, and the width of the window produced a horizontal scroll bar. (2) long file names (those longer then the width of the pane) may be required.

When scrolling vertically using the mouse wheel, horizontal scroll is educed.

It shouldn't invoke horizontal scrolling unless your mouse drivers are interfering with the behavior of FlashFXP.

As MxxCon pointed out we would need to know what mouse model, driver version, operating system, and FlashFXP version/build.

Re: Scrolling local browser causes horizontal scroll (via mouse wheel)

Hi Guys.

This is happening for me too.

I can reproduce it by making the NAME header in the local browser long enough for a left/right scroller to appear.

When I roll the mouse wheel up and down it moves the scroller left and right.

Now this only happens if there is no up/down scroller present. If you have both scroll bars it only goes up and down.

I am using a Logitech wireless mouse on the windows 7 machine. I went into the mouse software and turned off the application-specific button settings and this did not make a difference.

I am using a corded Logitech mouse on the XP machine and not using any Logitech drivers.

I hope that helps.

Thanks!

Logitech MX 518, Driver v5.10.9, Win 7 64bit, FlashFXP v4.0.0 (build 1540).

I determined the issue after reviewing the notes in this post.

KatMouse was interfering with the scrolling (Its an application that allows you to scroll contents of windows in the background, great if you got used to the behavior on a mac and don't want to do without).

Thanks for the help on this guys, sorry I didn't catch it sooner.
