Problem in the new tray tooltip

Hi, I have found a problem the the new tray tooltip if the "Hide inactive icons" is enabled.

Not easy to write, so I have do come screenshots (the cursor is on the black point under the red arrow):

1) when the "Hide inactive icons" is disable: ok

2) when the "Hide inactive icons" is active and some icons hidden: the tooltip show 2 flashfxp windows, one is the flashfxp under the cursor and another is the flashfxp if the "Hide inactive icons" is not active.

3) when the "Hide inactive icons" is active and many icons hidden: the tooltip show the flashfxp windows if the "Hide inactive icons" is not active.

I hope you could understand ... let me know if you need more info.

Regards

Miki

PS: don't forget to update OpenSSL 0.9.8i

Re: Problem in the new tray tooltip

Since the hitbox for the mouse detection doesn't match the coordinates of the tray icon itself it needs to be over sized and this would cause an overlap of hit boxes if two copies of FlashFXP were in the tray next to each other.

I'll need to add some process communication to let each copy of FlashFXP know when one is displaying a tooltip that they need to close theirs if its active.

Also the coordinates are set in stone as to where the tooltip is triggered, so if the tray notification area collapses due to hiding inactive icons there isn't much we can do, you just need to move your mouse out of the hitbox zone to close the tooltip.

Good find, this wasn't very obvious.

This is not good
The tooltip like point 3 is very annoying, because it show when we are over other application on the menu.
Are you sure there are no solution for this problem?
Because the tooltip for a FlashFXP session is show 2 time when the "Hide inactive icons" is enable:
- one time on the "original" position if the "Hide inactive icons" is disabled
- one time on the "new" position when others icons are hidden
So the tooltip know the "new" FlashFXP session position, but keep in memory also the "original" position

Re: Problem in the new tray tooltip

Short of disabling the new extended tooltips, I'm afraid not.

There's only so much that can be done with an imitation tooltip window.

If anyone knows of a way to do this, I've googled and done lots of research to get to the point where we are now. I'll admit its not flawless, the custom tooltip in Miranda IM exhibits the same behavior when the tray area collapses.
