Problem with character encoding

Hello,
there is problem with character encoding (I have problem with polish characters).
I complained this previously, but I thought that the problem affects only the translation and interface. Unfortunately, this also applies to connections.
I tried connect to server using password with polish chars - this is not possible, although a different ftp client works fine. I changed chars encoding in preferences from auto to UTF-8, but it didn't solve the problem.
