File extensions in local file mode gone ?
Hi.
When in local file mode it looks like all file extensions for files known by windows gets thrown away.
That being .rar .avi .vob and many more.
It is quite annoying that they are no longer shown.
Think it happened after upgrading to build 1284, but I am not 100% sure.
I have looked for an option to somehow change it, but I can't seem to find any.

Re: File extensions in local file mode gone ?
Well it looks like the change I made to support localization (
https://oss.azurewebsites.net/forum/bugtra...acker_bugid=64
) using the display name is based on your OS configuration, following the Control Panel > Folder Options > View settings.
I'm not sure if this is a situation where we can have both (localization & file extensions) without changing the OS configuration.
At the time I didn't consider this issue.

Re: File extensions in local file mode gone ?
Thanks bigstar for the 'FlashFXP 3.7.4.1290 BETA' as the maintenance release.
Have very busy today but put on hold all FlashFXP activity and then uninstall and reinstall the latest 1290.
Wow.. all start as expected.. with all extensions now to show listed in the Loco Directory.
Anyway I never have any serious problems since many years ago I run my favorite the FlashFXP beside
jus a couple minors questions I have before.
I always runs all BETA releases and often surprice about a few complains others have.
Since the bad things start to occurs with the missing extensions at first I check my Windows XP SP3 I runs
for the whole "Views' settings etc but didn't find any problems.
I notice that Microsoft lately very often over remote send and chance several options with windows I have..
so that was my first call at all since the fenicky SP3 installed.
I'm in 100% sure that since the update to FlashFXP ver 3.7.4.1286 BETA - 09 14 2008 the bad problems begin as the main reason..
