Extensive memory consumption during Search

During a single search operation the FlashFXP generated 15 ftpd processes. These ftpd processes somehow spawned multiple “ls” commands. Each “ls” command from within the ftpd took up 5GB of memory per command and eventually crashed the server

Searching is the same as if the ftp client navigated each directory manually.

Only a single connection to the server is used during this operation, so I am not sure why the ftpd server would spawn additional processes or allocate excessive amounts of memory.

This is very unusual and I am sorry I do not have much more to offer on this.
