I don't think your issue is the same as the person who started this thread.
I was able to reproduce this issue and it appears that the FlashFXP translated text is being double UTF-8 encoded when FlashFXP fails to detect that the server supports UTF-8. It uses predefined text to mimic server replies and there is a special case where server replies are automatically UTF-8 encoded causing a double UTF-8 encoding.
This is a display issue specific to the session status window and has no impact on the functionality of FlashFXP.
I can send you a test build if you'd like to test my fix for this.
