whats do i have to do to get that to work?

Hmm strange after using ssl for a while i just tried to log onto my site and i got the same.
[L] error:1408F10B:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_RECORD:wrong version number
[L] error:14095044:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_N:internal error

it worked perfectly before hand :|


ok i retried a couple of times and it worked again Dunno what caused the problem

That's a client error. Previous versions of flashfxp used wrong ssl handshake. When that was fixed you have to use Auth SSL in flashfxp to be able to login properly if you've chosen SSL as encryption method. Alternative would be to change to TLS in ioFTPD, which allows you and your users to login with both Auth TLS and Auth SSL.

Ok interesting i did use the board search feature to find the error but it didnt come back with any results.

Iv also registered ffxp so i use the most up to date beta each time and iv always use auth ssl. The problem for me seemed only to be a random one at that unlike that person who posted the original query.
