Could the following be implemented in the next version?

Improve the Site NEW command as follows:

1 -- if a user deletes a release after it is completed, it will STILL show in the site new listing, even though it is no longer physically on the drive. I feel these non-existant directories should be removed from the listing

2 -- Incomplete releases do not show in the site new list currently. Please show these releases in the list.

ioBanana's SITE NEW searches the ioFTPD.log for COMPLETE events, thus displaying the directory once it's complete. Whether or not Harm intends to change this, I'm not sure.

SITE NEW shows the latests *completed* releases. That's something I won't change because that's what it's supposed to do.

If you want to check if a release is on the site, use SITE SEARCH or SITE DUPE. Both can search for complete and incomplete releases and are displaying only physically present dirs.
You can check your race symlinks too.

Why would someone delete the latest transferred dir ? ... and do it so often your site new is always messed up.

...or you can disable iob's site new feature and install newdir from b0unty, worked here good and you will have all what you wrote about.
