EggDrop dumb ass new user question

Hi. I'm not a coder and a net head in the way that I USE irc and the like a lot. Though I have never really done much else. Anyway I am involved with a large horror movie www site and we have recently set up a irc chan so users can chat live with each other.

Anyway, I have been trying to figure out eggdrop so we can have the cool IMDB script running in the chan and pos a sister chan for trivia.

I can not for the life of me figure out how the thing works. I am a windows user.

Do you guys have any links to some "one more time for the dummies" style tutorials or guides?

I've been looking at that site but mabe yI need a glossery or somthing as a lot of the terms I do not understand... ...

What exactly do you not understand..

If you sit down with a clear head and read the eggdrop script or the eggdrop.conf file it explains what to do.

anything more look up on their site.

Its not a quick process but once you have done it you have it then to go back and check when you need to remember things
