Question slow dir listing speed (SSL)

Been testing ioFTPD today since its almost time to dump rftpd for good. But I noticed one thng dir listing speed is VERY slow using SSL. Neighter glftpd or rftpd seems to exibit this behaviour?

Any clues to what this is caused by?

Machine speed can be ruled out. (+2.5 ghz P4) and the above mentiond ftpd's run fine.

Using old version of flashfxp? It doesn't close connection properly (which causes ioftpd to wait until connection times out [3secs].. sounds like raiden & gl were both skipping the proper connection closure, which may cause some anomalities)

Nope - using the latest FlashFP build.

When using clear connections - dir listing speed is lightning fast.

Odd.. see if smartftp does that (atleast that works for me.. but I guess I could do the 'brute force' connection closing as well.. since all the other daemons are doing it :/)
