Question Email Notice of new builds?

heres an idea im going to throw at you guys and girls to see the response before deciding on running a mailing list for new FlashFXP build releases or not.

Basically if you want to be notified by email, you will subscribe to the list, once a new build is released you will be emailed about it.

This is a great idea. However, I would want to be notified very quickly after a new build is released (same day at the absolute minimum), not a couple of days later.

yes i agree, and thats the part where Bigstar must help me a little by telling me ASAP. although i generally find out on new builds pretty quickly

I think this is a nice idea.
I also agree with what others have written. It must be something that relative fast to notify the users.

For this to work, it would need to be very quick!

Sounds like a good idea...altho I'm pretty used to hitting the 'ol update button on a regular basis. This probably won't work for betas tho huh?..

I think new betas (builds) was what MidKnight was aiming at. That is what I would like as I love new builds and would like to be notified of new builds. One extra way to stay informed in case I don't check the site. I don't use the Update button much, except when there is a registered users only build.

I voted yes, and would assume the email would include a list of whats been updated, but if not would definately suggest it for inclusion.

Mmm... what about making a mailing list available only to registered users (those who have a legit ID)?

MidKnight doesn't have access to such data. and i doubt bigstar will allow somebody from outside access to it.
