Default 426 Connection closed: Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.
im getting this error but only when fxping

It only happens when fxping from certain sites

any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Check out the end of the 6.9.3 release thread in the General forum. It has to do with SSL cert issues. Workaround for the moment is to use fxp alternate options in your client site config to make ioFTPD act in server mode so it provides the SSL cert and not the other side.
