Default Ascii

Im trying to upload a php script using FlashFXP 3.2.0 and in the readme file it tells me to do the following:

///////Install Help
1)Make a folder called click or something.
2)Upload all files in ASCII then CHMOD to 777.
3) Thats it...

As im not sure whats the ASCII ment i just uploaded normally. then chmod'ed the file to 777 but the script didnt work so obviously this ASCII mode must be somthing different. Can someone please tell me what it means and how i go about uploading it in ASCII mode using my flashfxp client

Thanks in advance

Options menu, Filters, ASCII tab, make sure .php is listed there. if not, then obviously add it.
then Session menu, Transfer, make sure AUTO is selected.
restart flashfxp and upload your files again.
