Is there any way to make a bot announce when a download transfer is initiated?

If so, please give me a smack, because i atleast cant find such function in any existing scripts.

downloads are recorded in the xferlog, a simple tcl would parse that ala dzsbotish, but why youd want spammed with every file leeched is beyond me

What im actually is trying to achieve is to make the bot announce when bw is beeing used, without having it to spam current bw-situation with a static time between the announcments.

is there any tcl suited for that, or is it easy done to add such feature in dzs/iobanana?
Or writing an bacis exe to send it and add it to [FTP_Pre-Command_Events]?

My scripting experience is quite limited, any advice how to do this is appreciated.
