[16:04:21] [@hukker]: !request test.test-test
[16:04:22] botname [Request] invalid command name "GetFtpUser"

pls neoxed could you explain what Iam doing wrong here...
is the request feature on irc somehow contected to the odbc database?
If the invite module wasnt loaded the request announce "site request" nor the !req"cmds" announced in chan...
Nothing in DEBUG that would explain this and all modules are loaded successfully.

sorry if its a stupid question or if missed some part of the readme, but I just cant figure it out...

The request commands in the nxtools module rely on functionality in the invite module. So to answer your question: yes, you need the invite module.

When a user invites himself into the channel, their IRC nickname and FTP username are recorded in the ODBC database. Other modules use this information (via GetFtpUser and GetIrcUser) to resolve the IRC nick to the FTP user and vice versa.

ive readded DB now to mysql, and odbc connection is fine.
Ive set my host / password for the invite, and on site invite ircnick / !invite nick pass , everything checks out, I do get invited.

variable hostCheck True
variable userCheck False

But that request error still pops up on !request test. Could you tell me which version maybe of mysql you useing? Ive kinda imported the invite.sql db on the same database I use for iosharedb, if thats even relevant :P
Dont think Iam useing nxtools/alcobot with iosharedb, cause thats not the case... this is a single setup I am testing.

any pointers?

I use PostgreSQL server, but it works on MySQL server 4.0/4.1 (probably 5.0 too).

Could you post what you have for modules (under [General]) in AlcoBot.conf. The invite module should be loaded before nxtools. I need to rework some of module loading code, eventually.
