Default IO crashes while dir change
Hi folks,

these days I decided to install a "clean" version of io on my server, because my older installation was a little bit buggy and slow because of all these updates...

Therefore I installed io 5.8.7r with newest ioA and ioBanana on my local box. I tested everything and all went smooth. In the next step, I uploaded io to my server and started it as well as the eggy --> I connected to the site --> worked --> try to go into another dir --> io crashes. I tried that several times, but I had no success. All pathes are valid...

Has anyone an idea what went wrong?

I had the same problems and went back to an older version of io.

I use the 5.8.0r cause the problem i had in every other version which i am able to download in the costumer portal. Every version stopps working as soon as i log in or change dir.
The problem occured when i installed ioBanana, but with version 5.8.0 everything works fine so far

I'm using ioFTPD 5.8.5r and ioBanana without any problem.

I haven't tried 5.8.6r or 5.8.7r yet (shame on me), but I hope to find some time to do so.
I heard there were some problem with those builds and would like to investigate if it impacts ioBanana or not. Apparently, it does..

I downgraded to 5.8.5r and now it works without any problem. in deed it doesn't work with 5.8.6r and .7r... strange. My previous io installation worked with 6r and 7r.
It's really a pitty that 6r and 7r crashes my new installation, because they have some nice new features

I really don't understand what causes the crash...
