Have problem with this and can't find this guide, anyone who can help me?

Login on my site stops after sending "USER xyz" or "PASS xyz" and timeout. How can I fix this ?

Yes but I can't even connect through the LAN and I have tested to open the ports but it still doesn't work, haven't had problems in the past but reinstalled it to set up a new one now. Must be a simple setting somewhere?
