Default ioftpd keeps on crashing :(

hi,

i was editing a user and after that i quit ioftd. now i restarted it and tried login, login works, but then ioftpd crashes ...

350 Restarting at 0. Send STORE or RETRIEVE to initiate transfer.
CWD /
250 CWD command successful.
PWD
257 "/" is current directory.
TYPE A
200 Type set to A.
PORT 127,0,0,1,12,48
200 PORT command successful.
LIST
Connection lost: localhost

i can login with each user i added, always same prob, login successful and then ioftpd crashes, i already tried my backup and reinstalled io, still the same

is an error like that one already know by someone else ???

plz help

EDIT:

i found out that it seems to be something with my default.vfs, when i only take root dir and one another dir it works, when i put all my old dirs back in it (that would be 5 dirs) it crashes again

delete the .ioftpd files in the dirs that are causing the crash.
If that makes no difference rename, make a new dir and gradually move stuff over until it stops working and you'll have the bugger causing the issues.
