Proxy without passive mode?

I´m using the last beta 1.4.3

Connecting to FTP via Socks 4 Proxy.

Can´t deaktivate the small box in the options "Use Passive Mode". When i look again in the options, it is marked again!...

I have to check hundreds of accounts every day in the Site Manager, if they are still attainable. After every connect the Site Manager closes and i have to reopen it and hangle down do the last...
