ordinal 3288 error

* FlashFXP v[3 ].[ 2.0], build [1080], [x]registered
* OS [x] Win2K
* Running behind NAT/router [x] Not sure
* Running firewall [x] No
* Running Antivirus [x] Yes, Name [Norton Antivirus]
* Network [x] xDSL

I did an upgrade to v3.2.0 build 1080 an on start I am receiveing the error message:

This ordinal 3288 could not be located in the dynamic link library LIBEAY32.dll

I did a download and reinstall and I am still recieving the same error message.

I have tried finding a current copy of:

LIBEAY32.dll
LIBEAY32.lib

But these still cause the same error.

I also tried copying the one from Flash into /WINNT/SYSTEM32 but the same error results.

Any ideas on where I can get a current copy of the files for a Win2k computer?

Not sure if this will solve the bug issue that I have but it may be worth a shot.

I use the same build and operating system without problem. Make sure you have both the libeay32.dll and the ssleay32.dll present in your flashfxp directory. Both of which should be digitally signed by inicom.

I have both in my flashfxp directory and both are signed

Please read the following thread

That is what I currently have in the:

C:\Program Files\FlashFXP

Both files are the latest from the FlashFXP download.

If I have to uninstall and reinstall from scratch is there a way to recover all of my custom settings?

I tried to install over the existing programs but the error message remains.

If an install over the existing copy didn't solve it, it's unlikely that an install from scratch will..

You must have an older version of libeay32.dll located somewhere on your hard drive and for some odd reason FlashFXP is trying to load/use it instead of the one in the FlashFXP folder.
