Usage of server output (e.g. site search output)

hi guys,

what i think would be a very handy function, if e.g. u use
site search <item> the server gets us a list where the stuff is found on the server at least with glftpd

now it would be perfect if the output would be usable like alink, so u just click on a line and it gets to the dir on the ftpd

now we have to copy and paste the path..

what u think!!

thanks for this great proggie!!

hell ya i would use that often, nice idea

This is a very nice idea 4 sure...... i like it alot

MxxCon 03-29-2005 04:17 PM

different servers have different output for site search commands
some give you path/filename, some give you path and filenames in different columns...

That was exactly the same that came to my mind, MxxCon. The idea rocks, but unless the ftpd's will uniform their search outputs, this idea will be very hard to implement.

yeah.. maybe a switch to use that only with a glftpd host..
in the site manager like [x] glftpd host

but i prolly guess ffxp does only want global working funtions.. ? :(

thanks through!!

In fact, this wouldn't be necessary since the ftp client can detect the ftpd version through the FEAT command.

cool  even better!!

i hope the developers might think its worth to add.. we never knows =)
