checkbox sounds

hi flashfxp

how about a checkbox in the Sounds tab to enable/disable
playing sounds while the user is using the pc ?

i think it would be a nice option :]

I'm not quite sure I understand, there is already a checkbox on the sound tab to do this.

i mean

if you set a command "play mediafile x after connect" it sometimes nervs to hear the sound constantly.

with a checkbox in the sound tab u could give the user the possibility to choose if after command: x flashfxp should play the file while u are using the pc.

maybe it could be realized with mouse-moves

if the user doesnt use the mouse mybe for 30 sec then flashfxp hast to run the command listed in the soundstab for the current action.

:)

So you want the sounds to play when you ARE at/using the computer, but NOT to play when you are NOT at/usin the computer.

This seems kind of a pointless thing to code into the program IMO, i mean.. if you are not at the computer then chances are your not going to hear the sound anyway. And IF you are close enough to hear sounds from your computer when you are not using it and dont want to hear them, then is it not your own responsibility to maybe turn off your speakers?

In your example, 'play media file x after connect'.. chances are that this will occur VERY shortly after you have just selected a site and clicked 'connect' therefor your not going to be idle...

Maybe i am missing something here..

ehm

sorry it was my mistake.

i mean to play the sound while u arent using the pc.
then u can hear it while u are doing something else like watching tv etc.

i think its a nice option

Or you could enable the option when you leave the computer, and disable it when you return.

yes but i think it would be better to do that automatically by watching mousemovements.

so the script would know when user idle or not :D
