Compare Folder Content "Feature"

2 Attachment(s)
When doing a folder compare, total size is reported incorrectly after compare (see attached image). Also, is it possible to have the folder compare check for file size? ChangeLog.txt at 84420 bytes does, strangely enough, not equal ChangeLog.txt at 112427 bytes :)

very strange ... I don't have this problem.
Can you list the file and the file size before the compare?

There's this options ;)

Go to your toolbar and right click, check Compare Folder and now you have a new Button
(you can see it in the FlashFXP Help in Interface - FlashFXP Toolbar)

Click on the small black arrow and click Advanced..
here you can check Compare Name and Size :)

I hope this can help you

See the attached image. The problem is that folder sizes are subtracted from the total when you do a compare, but they're not added to the initial total value. So when total is 0 before compare, and three folders are removed due do comparing, the total is 0 - size of three folders = 0 - 3 * 4096 = -12288. Note: Problem seems to be with dirs only, and is only cosmetic :)

Sweet indeed, thanks! Now, dev's, how 'bout making it more accessible? An option that (afaik) you can only get to via a window that pops up when you click on a dropdown-button on a toolbar, which by default is not visible, hardly seems intuitive to me ;)

ok, I have right :)

With FlashFXP v3.0 build 1010 [PUBLIC PREVIEW] RC 4 there's this small problem.

But with old 2.1 build 924 all works fine :D

A new bug with version 3 ;)

that thing about the negative numbers seems to occur because the server shows a dir size (raiden does) while windows does not, and thats the exact difference, which it then shows negative,

in general i dont care about this feature, nor does it make much sense too because it only compares the folder names and their sizes but it doesnt care about the files inside, so requeuing everything and using that as comparison makes much more sense to me.

or did i miss soemthing here?
