i need to recover a password from the QUICK.DAT file...
how can i do that?

Can u bring it back into the quick connect window...then go here:

http://www.webattack.com/freeware/security/fwpasswordrecovery.shtml

Most of those apps will reveal the passes hidden by asterisks.

another way is add to site manager the link in "Quick Connect"
and after view the pass in the site manager,
when you have ability the "security" (and view the pass with Reveal)
