Alcobot not annoucing pre
 

I've got the following error message whenever I try to pre something

[12:02] [AlcoBot] Debug :: ModReadLogs - Received event: PRE (log: 0).
[12:02] [AlcoBot] Error :: ModPreTime - column release is not unique
[12:02] [AlcoBot] Debug :: ModReadLogs - Event disabled or callback returned false, skipping announce.

Here is my sections entry
DEFAULT = "#test" "approve close credits request"
STAFF = "#testStaff" "error login sysop wipe"
PRE = "#testpre" "pre pretime"

Here is my alcobot.vars entry
[Variables::Module::ReadLogs]
PRE = message:z

Now could it be that since I'm getting a column release is not unique error thats causing the Event disabled or callback returned false error? Or is there something else that I'm missing?

Also if you need any more info just let me know, and I'll get whatever info you need.

control nxPRE.cfg and nxTools.cfg

nxPRE.cfg and nxTools.cfg are setup properly. PRE'ing works correctly...its the announcing that doesn't seem to be working correctly for one reason or another

tryconnect dcc with bot controll log making debug mode on bot and see the error

I already posted the error that I am getting in my first log, along with some more relevant information...

this Error :: ModPreTime - column release is not unique you have control pre time modules ??

actually it's these two errors

they maybe linked - i'm not sure

You need to define a path section for the pre event. Channel sections are not release oriented.

Alright i'm still getting the following error message

I checked my path sections
0DAY = "/0DAY/" "#testpre" "pre"

which is laid out the same as what you stated neoxed
MP3 = "/MP3/" "#foo-mp3" "pre"

And from what I can tell my variables are setup properly as well
[Variables::Module::ReadLogs]
PRE = message:z


Any other ideas or anything else to check?

where did you get PRE = message:z from? I cant see that in my conf.
Also try this if the other one didnt work
0DAY = "/0day-sections/0day" "#chan.spam" "!wipe all"

check your module list again, if you use nxtools see if that is added in modules aswell, not sure if needed or not but worth a try...
