getting error message in site to site transfer
 

hello

just before i had downloaded this software, attempted to make a site to site transfer between netfirms.com (source) & dreamhost (recipient)


* FlashFXP v3.4.0, build 1145, unregistered (I had installed this software to test how site to site transfer works)

* OS : WinXP

* Running behind NAT/router : YES - my laptop connects to dlink 604T Wireless modem which connects to Huewai ADSL MODEM for connecting to internet

* specifically no firewall for now (other than default windows firewall in WinXP

* Running Antivirus : Antivir Free Edition

* Network : ADSL connection

I am thinking to try some options, if I find a method, I will post here for confirmation, thank you

I had attempted to enable PASSIVE MODE OPTION in settings for both sites and then tried to make a transfer even when it didnot work. I got same old error message, thank you

The site is not configured for site to site transfers.. You could try enabling alternative fxp for the site giving the error, and only enable it for that site.
