(Probably dumb) question regarding folders
Quite simply, if I click and drag a file from my explorer window into my FlashFXP folder, when I try and put it into a folder, it puts it into the route directory, and I can't seem to find out why.
Any suggestions very welcome, since I can't seem to find anywhere in the options that mentions it! |
Sorry to bump, but does anyone please know?
|
route directory?
do you mean root? and to understand your question...when you drag something to flashfxp, it's being uploaded into your current directory or root as in /? |
Oops sorry, I don't think I explained myself very well! :)
Let's say for example, I want to place a file into /colours/blue I'm currently in the /colours/ directory and I've got a listing of a load of folders, if I click and drag something onto the 'blue' folder it will just be uploaded to /colours/ and not /colours/blue - hope that makes a little sense :) Cheers |
I'm having the same problem. I once had it with another FTP client years ago and could never work out what was causing it then either.
To help make it very obvious what we mean, here's a quick picture walkthrough: http://ryan.foldedgamers.com/images/...xp_problem.gif |
Nice image demonstration, thanks! :)
Anyone please know how to stop this happening? Thanks! |
Final bump, please? :/
