Local view - Right click > Unzip
On the local view if an archive was right clicked there was an ability to extract with the system's default extraction utility ex: WinRAR, Winzip, etc... or if none it would use XP's built-in extraction system.
This would be very useful. |
Dont most archiving utilities have the option to add context menu items themselfs? So just turn that on, then in local view go right click > explorer menu > 'extract' (or whatever context entry the utility itself has added)
|
Yes, however it'd be nice to do that while inside FlashFXP I mean.
For example: Downloading something with firefox into a folder, it's not like IE there is no "open file location" so it's easier to do it in flashfxp when it's already open and your waiting to upload something from that zip. You can do it in there instead of browsing around to where it was downloaded. |
Well if you right click in the local view now there's an option to show the explorer menu. In this menu there is the extract now option included if you installed an archive program.
|
Umm, "right click > explorer menu > 'extract' (or whatever context entry the utility itself has added)" -- Do this inside flashfxp...
|
Neat! never knew that existed :P
I love finding new things in FlashFXP hehe. |
