Default [Question]question with sitebot

OK, i downloaded ioFTPD 5.8.8 , and installed it following the readme, it works.
then downloaded ioA and followed the readme and it worked fine.
then i downloaded ioB and followed the install page step by step.
and left out the part that goes with winddrop because i'm not using irc.
and i get an result in no ioB commands work. all reply with 550 Command failed.
So here is my question. Can i simply ignore the sitebot parts in the install steps page.
Can still make it work. Is it normal that leaving those settings untouched will cause ioB to not function and cmd at all. (i did not install windrop).

ok , well, i solved the problem. and run into a new one.
i decided to setup the sitebot, and everything went nice.
so i left it running, the next day. i saw that announce has stoped.
so i shutdown eggdrop and tried to restart it , and it gave me some errors.

C:\Windrop>eggdrop.exe
