Default Shared User DB Donation Pool

I know we all have been waiting for this module for a long time. Now I am asking if we all band together to donate to the awesome scripter that wants to take on this challenge. I am willing to start the donation with $100. Everyone lets show how bad we really want this module. Even the littlest bit help!!

hey,

I was going to do it anyway as I mentioned in some other thread... Though i don't know about the money, I was hoping on keeping ioFTPD scripts free :/. If you really want to donate money I don't think anyone's going to say no though :P.

Right now I'm just trying to figure out the modules :s the mysql db is taken care of right now.

Though, just wondering, does everyone here able to setup/or have access to a mySQL database? (www.mysql.com) As i'm planning to make it depend on this database.

laters,

I don't think that would be a problem. It's really easy to setup up and if they managed to setup ioftpd no problem with mysql.

sounds like you're really making it worth it (never received that large donation for io from single person ) You might consider using more generic routines (odbc) over mysql libraries... this would make it possible to run userbase in various databases.
