[Req] ioIsotope developer(s)
I have no more time to put in ioIsotope.
Project is in Borland C++ Builder; kinda like Delphi, but using C++ instead of Pascal.
To anyone who will take the project: you can distribute however you want, open-source it or not, your choice. Only thing I ask is that I always have access to complete source, since I'll probably want to make myself a branch.
If you want to open-source it, there's already a sourceforge project where I could put it.
Anyone interrested can reply to this thread or contact me on IRC.
Btw... main cpp file is atm ~5100 lines of code, plus all small dialogs code.
*edit: source has been posted on http://www.ioftpd.com/scripts/script.php?id=64 for anyone who would want to try...

I know you've tried it for ioDistDb and that it didn't work so well, but what about adding this to the existing sourceforge project ?
I'm sure a few developers could work together on this one.

IniCom may have an interrest in it, so until I check with them, there's no development on this.

No. It means nothing atm except that I will either get paid to continue development, or it will be open-sourced.

lol what a funny comment!!!
i do have time, but only if i get paid...
hahaha
let's see...
if u had a job that took 80h a week of your time, would u still have time to program free io scripts ?
the week contains exactly the same ammount of hours if you work or not. what you do of those hours depends on your priorities.
and yes, doing paid work is higher on my priorities list than non-paid work.
So no, i don't have any more time for non-paid work. I have a new job on which I work around 50h a week, and which makes me travel often, and I work for IniCom already on FlashFXP.com and ioFTPD.com, which takes another 10-20h a week. And I bought a new house, which needs some fixing now and then, and I have a gf, which I love to spend time with.
Programming for free goes way down in this long list.

Hmm, I know all too well what this is like. A job that takes the majority of my time, I too am building a new house, a gf that requires my attention. Oh, and lets not forget the new puppy I'll be picking up Friday. Whew...but I really wish I could sneak more time into programming my own stuff, I still have many really cool ideas...

Is this project dead? I am a foundation licensee but, the same version appears to be on the public scripts page, is this because the project is dead? It's a great interface, just not complete. It crashes when I hit the site activity tab, but then everybody knows that already.

It's not available on the public script page. There's a description and a link to the member's area.
I'll try to find the source etc. today, and post them in the same script page so somebody can complete if they want.
